The game is a blast and unlocking the rev and his sword is awesome. The game is difficult and has an old school feel to it which I love and its A7X. The only issue I have with it is that the game is insanely short. Within about 2 days of not much play time I had the regular mode and nightmare mode beaten and there is nothing really left to do. I already unlocked the bonus chests and the rev sword which is really the only extra thing in the game. Worth the 5 bucks though.

I was suckered by the fake reviews. Therere better free games out there. This game is nothing like Diablo. Controls are clunky, combat is very, very lame. Stay away until it is free.

Ive been a fan since 2006 and this game is fantastic! Buy it and love it!

Sick game but id like to see more character options like armor or skill trees

The game is boring. The band is awesome and kudos for them to try and make a game but they should stick to doing music.

The sound effects are poor, the animations are bad, the frame rate is somehow low on an iPhone 6 Plus, the controls are unresponsive, the graphics look like an early Nintendo DS game... The best strategy in all situations is to hold down the melee button and stand still while the enemies run into your sword. I dont understand the 5 star reviews. I regret my purchase. Please do yourself a favor and watch footage of the gameplay on YouTube before falling into the same trap I did. This is a waste of money. This is a waste of time.

While I have never been a gamer in any capacity, as a diehard fan of Avenged Sevenfold I bought the game with a determination to get good at it. While Matt wasnt lying, the game is definitely difficult, it gives you a intense sense of satisfaction when you manage to beat a level. While it was a learning curve for sure, the game was created in such a way that it is possible for even a non-experienced gamer like me can learn the skills necessary to beat the game. I have already beat several levels without buying any of the band members or spending excessive amounts of time on it. The game is so much fun to play and an overall great experience. I would recommend it to anyone, fan or not.

I quite enjoy the game. Its hard as crap though. But thats ok. Im getting better at it. I wouldnt like it as much if it was too easy. Me being a long time Avenged Sevenfold fan may have a big contribution in my opinion. But its still fun. There is one bug though. On some parts, it lags seriously bad. ON BOSS BATTLES TOO. But this is a young game, Im sure you guys will have it fixed in about one or two updates. But overall, I love it. You guys did a great job. I love the music too. I get amped when I hear Unholy Confessions on the boss battles. So get that lagging fixed and this will be game of the year no doubt.

Decent concept for a game to pass the time. Its annoying to run in circles over and over due to no mapping system. Also to have to continually farm gold for potions of which you can only carry 5 at a time, so when you leave a level to visit the witch, the levels reset so you end up using the potions all over again before the level is complete.

They did an awesome job on this game, and I love the fact that you only have a one time fee. Its not like all the free games where your constantly prompted to buy things. The story line is good, and they have a bunch of their music in the game which makes it awsome.

Awesome Game. Reminds me of the older console games, especially the music . Hope A7X makes another game at some point.

I am amazed a band that has featured in a AAA title like CoD could make such an awful game. Forget the lame story, the mechanics are just terrible and unrefined. Movement is clunky, combat is not fun and flawed. The soundtrack is average and I like their music but this is generic video game BGM. Worst of all the graphics are hideous. This wouldve looked bad in 2010, its amazing that this band holds themselves to such a low standard when theyve supposedly been making this for 2 years. Do not waste five whole dollars on this garbage.

Such a GREAT game! The graphics are great the music and averything is great. It was definitley worth the wait.

I dont usually buy apps, but knowing this was from A7X I knew it would be good. It was so much better than I expected! Graphics are amazing for a mobile game. I havent bought any of the guys yet, and Ive already beat a few levels. Extremely challenging, but it gives you a great feeling of satisfaction after you beat a level. I only bought this game a little while ago and Im not very far into it, but I know itll be great all the way through. Whether youre a die-hard A7X fan like me or just a gamer looking at it, just buy it! 9.5/10! Honestly, this is my new favorite mobile game. RIP our St. James
